The Doug Fir Lodge
Our large (2,400 sq. ft.) game and entertainment room with a 65" flat screen TV, multiple seating areas, a wood stove, ping pong and pool tables. Behind the game and entertainment space, we provide a covered eating and grilling area and a fire pit/seating area.
Outdoor Activity Area
The grassy southernmost acre of the park - which “stares” at a large, dinosaur-like Osprey nest - will provide a great opportunity for outdoor activities, picnicking, kicking the soccer ball around or browning up your marshmallows at one of several outdoor fire pits.
Our large 12,000 sq./ft. greenhouse houses the park's own produce garden and a local microgreens business, with fresh vegetables and micro-greens available to park users. This space will also serve as your own personal nursery or storage space if you’re staying at the park longer term.
Our pet friendly park has now opened its 5,500 square foot dog park.
The Redwood Commons
StartIng in late Spring 2019, we’ll open our newly built commons and provide sweeping views of the ocean in a large second floor great room. The first floor will house bathrooms (with showers) and a meeting space available for group gatherings.
Site Landscaping and Nature Trail
Our uniqueness is also reflected in the site landscaping, which was designed by professional landscape architects at Koch Landscape Architecture, and which is intended to provide a uniquely Oregon coast experience by utilizing thoughtfully landscaped sites with mature plantings that are native to the Oregon coast. While we realize that the five minute walk to miles of pristine ocean beaches is perhaps the biggest draw of the park, starting in late summer, 2018, we'll provide you an immediate opportunity to escape into the solitude of nature on our own nature trail on the park property. Available for use by fall 2018, this canopied area with a creek running through it will serve as a convenient counter-balance to the park's other more communal gathering places.
